ARE YOU AN EXPERIENCED OR RECENTLY QUALIFIED MORTGAGE ADVISER?

We are recruiting ambitious trainee and experienced Mortgage Advisers that are looking to establish themselves independently. The opportunity would suit either those currently working for other mortgage brokers, former advisers looking to come back into the industry, advisers currently working in banks or estate agencies or newly qualified advisers.

We are a young, dynamic, fast growing and forward-thinking independent adviser network with ambitious plans to expand. We are looking to take on additional self-employed advisers to join our growing team. We offer some of the best commission splits on the market and a good supply of pre-qualified leads generated via our network of introducers and sister companies. We also have an extensive client bank and receive many recommendations and repeat business.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

To competently provide mortgage advice to clients within FCA rules and our firm’s policies and procedures. You will be responsible for giving independent advice and making recommendations on mortgages and insurances products from the whole of the market. You will have the opportunity to work remotely from home and will have the flexibility to control your own diary and working days/hours.

KEY REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Ambitious and driven to grow your business
  • A relevant approved qualification CeMAP or Cert CII (MP)
  • A good credit history is essential, you must also be free from any regulatory breaches and not be banned from accessing any mortgage lenders
  • The ideal adviser will have an existing client bank, although this is not essential. Marketing support and guidance will be provided so that you can grow your business
  • This is a self-employed role, which can be office or home based

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Keeping up to date with mortgage deals, products, technical or legislative changes within the marketplace
  • Complying at all times with the Compliance and Training and Competence Procedures of our firm
  • Complying at all times with the requirements of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, and the FCA Principles, Rules and the Conduct Rules
  • Identifying and contacting potential clients. Gathering sufficient client information and identifying client needs
  • Analysing information gathered and undertaking sufficient research to make suitable mortgage recommendations
  • Completing all supporting documentation in an accurate and compliant manner
  • Attaining and maintaining competent status as defined by FCA and our firm
  • Maintaining performance standards in accordance with those outlined in the Key Performance Indicators section of the Training and Competence procedures

SUCCESFUL APPLICANTS WILL BENEFIT FROM:

  • Highly competitive commission splits. Achievable/realistic first year expected earnings £30k/£40k per annum
  • Full admin support - We believe our advisers should be free to advise as much as possible, which is why we provide you with your own dedicated and trained administrator who will help you with submitting applications, completing underwriting, liasing with solicitors and writing your suitability reports.
  • Pre-qualified mortgage leads will be provided, however, you will also be expected to network in order to grow your own client base
  • Marketing support will be provided to help you self generate your own leads

Access to technical support and assistance with product placement, including difficult to place mortgages, second charges, bridging and commercial mortgages providing you with the clarity needed to give your customers the highest quality advice
  • Electronic Conveyancing - online conveyancing system, making conveyancing instructions easy quick and efficient ensuring an additional revenue stream for our advisers
